Movie is about a team of former villains and morally ambiguous anti-heroes assembled by the government for a dangerous mission. They all have psychological wounds and shadows from their pasts as well, which makes them skeptical about the concept of redemption. The job will escalate as that tactical mission quickly turns into a deathtrap, masking a bigger agenda of setting the Middle-East ablaze.
As tensions mount and secrets emerge, the group soon realizes they’ve been lured into a no-win situation. Unsurprisingly, burdened by distrust and their own individual demons, they learn to rely on each other to escape a mission intended to kill them. When met with the characters they used to be or have the potential to be, the team will have to make a decision that will show if they are the Thunderbolts for good, or if they’re truly the villains they once were. Action and dark humor collide as the Thunderbolts square off against Fin Fang Foom, but going toe-to-toe with the world’s most fearsome dragon will may be the least of their problems!
