In the rhythm of Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight , No Exit creates a story full of small twists that sharpen our sense of curiosity as we follow young Darby ( Havana Rose Liu ) out of the rehab clinic she attends to travel (she stole a car!) and trying to find her family (who doesn’t want anything to do with her anymore!) after her mother has been admitted to the hospital.
After a few hours of travel, our protagonist finds the roads blocked by a heavy blizzard that prevents cars from proceeding and is invited to spend the night at a community center or return to where she came from. Which for Darby is no longer an option. Upon arriving at the location, No Exit and Darby introduce us to the other characters, and of course, to the real (and much more interesting) story that will develop from there.
